EXCEPTIONAL 8-HOUR TOUR – HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Not many people can capture and captivate my husband’s and my undivided attention for 8 hours, but Marie managed to do so with ease and professionalism.

She is super warm, funny, engaging, and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the incredible Convent of Christ in Tomar, Portugal.

We had read up on the Knights Templar history before the trip, so we thoroughly enjoyed our delightful conversations with Marie and we all explored the magnificent (and exquisitely cleaned and refurbished) structure – “A testament to the architecture combining Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline, Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque elements.”

As fun bonuses, the tour also included a drive to explore a quaint medieval village and a well-preserved aqueduct.

All in all, it was a truly memorable experience with a tour guide who went above and beyond to entertain and educate us.
