Peter met us at our lodging to begin a very enjoyable and interesting tour of Tomar and the sites relating to the Knights Templar.  He impressed all of us with his extensive knowledge of the history of the Templar as well as the history of the area and region.  Adding to this knowledge is an obvious passion for the area and its past.  Peter engaged all of us and made the tour quite personal by challenging us with questions regarding the past and encouraging us to ask any questions and pursue discussions.  The tour he provided us (all day 9 hours) far exceeded our expectations.  We made a special effort to visit this area and see the sites and Peter rewarded us with exceptional information and a truly interesting day.
