We had a cracking time on our holiday tours with the guides at Knights Templar Tours. Tour guide Sandra Costa was charming, knowledgeable, and witty as she spoke to the rich Templar history that permeates Portugal.

Having the boss, Peter Moore, lead us through the Convento was icing on the cake. A great story teller, Peter peppered his presentation with rich bits of information that took us back to the days the site was populated. He also pointed out the meaning behind the rich carvings which actually tell the history of those early explorers. His stories brought the Templars alive for us. We couldn’t get enough.
